Wow... it is incredible to think that this weekend will be the last one of 2012. It has been an incredible year, filled with many blessings (meeting my amazing group of friends, landing a teaching job, growing this amazing blog) and also struggles (my good friends battle with brain cancer being the biggest one). However, I wouldn't trade anything that happened this year, because with every struggle and challenge, you find yourself growing, and you find the challenge turning itself into a positive as a overcome it.
With regards to blogging, Becoming Martha has grown soooo much this year. At the beginning of 2012, I had under 200 followers on GFC and didn't even have a facebook page. Now I have a wonderful following and the best readers who leave the most encouraging comments. I have a little tribe of fellow bloggers who I am now lucky enough to call my friends as well. Life is definitely good - both personal life and blog life.
I thought since the year was over, and since I have grown so much, I would do a recap of my top 10 projects from the year - five are the readers top posts based on pageviews and comments, and five are my personal faves that perhaps you haven't seen because most readers weren't around the blog in the first half of the year. So, let's start the countdown, shall we?
10. Christmas Planner Printable
9. DIY Word Art for Any Season
8. Wonton Taco Cups
7. Felt Leaf and Pom Pom Garland
6. Tutorial series - How to Use GIMP (a free photo editing software similar to Photoshop).png)
5. Lattice Design Plates
And the number one post of the year... the most viewed and commented on by you, the readers, not only for 2012, but the most popular post of all time on Becoming Martha is...
1. Fall Bubble Burlap Wreath

And there you have it - The top 10 of 2012 on Becoming Martha! A big thank you to my readers and fans who have inspired me to grow creatively, and to my three best blogging buddies... Jill (Create.Craft.Love), Barbara (Chase the Star), and Meredith (Wait Til Your Father Gets Home). I could never have reached this point without you girls - xxoo!
