I don't usually post on Sunday, but I wanted to share tomorrow's post early since it's a special product line that debuts in stores today. I was fortunate enough to review this new product line from Dear Lizzie called Fifth & Frolic. The colors in this line (designed by Liz Kartchner) include beautiful blue-greens (my fave color!), pinks, yellows, and golds, and has a retro, yet playful, feel.
I created two projects with the swag I received - the second is the Thursday tutorial next Thursday on The Creative Headquarters. This one is a quick decor idea to dress up some storage boxes that I purchased awhile ago for my family room decor.
Here is what I used to create the project - the mini banner from the 5th & Frolic line, a page of the Playtime Plaza cardstock, and double sided tape.
This mini banner is super, super cute. It's stitched together and all you have to do it pop it out of the sheet. It's also double sided, so you get two cute patterns to choose from. I should also add that I only used half of the exterior of the banner sheet - so it goes a loooong way!
I added a small piece of double sided tape to the back of every second pennant and gently stuck it on my storage box.
Once the banner was attached, I cut out the number cards from the Playtime Plaza paper. As soon as I saw them, they reminded me of flash cards, and I really wanted to use them. I cut out the first two numbers, and used double sided tape to attach them to the box, over the banner.
And that's it - a quick way to pretty up a plain ol' storage box. Make sure you check out the 5th & Frolic line - it debuts at JoAnn's today - March 17! To view the full line, you can click here and plan your shopping list. I love it all, I am definitely hitting a JoAnn's when I head to SNAP in April to pick up some more items in this line. What items would you grab?
